Toast spent nearly two decades working as a instructional designer and documentation manager for the computer industry. Now she uses those skills as a freelance consultant, humor columnist, and homeschool teacher.

 

Baja California Sur, Mexico is hot. It is also beautiful in a stark, uncompromising way. The mainland is less hot but more humid. We are adapting to life here -- both the climate and the lifestyle. The Baja Ha Ha Fleet effect is still in force, enabling us to socialize with many boats and to experience a sense of security. We feel like part of a larger movement with all these boats traveling in the same general direction and doing similar things. School is progressing in a herky jerky fashion. I’m getting a bit skinnier. It’s all good.
